Are hate crimes reciprocally identified and punished when it's the other way round here? Or is it only Caucasians that commit such crimes?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Occasionally they are but the threshold is quite a bit higher.

I have read of cases where comments were made similar to "Kill that white ######".... or ..."I will blow your cracker head off". it was determined that this was "normal conversational jargon" and not "evidence" of a hate crime.

Now imagine a white man using the same type lingo during a crime.

Now imagine a white man using the same type lingo during a crime.

the law isn't supposed to be "during the crime" phrases used.

Hate crimes statutes are only supposed to be used in cases where overwhelming evidence marks this as a trend in the individual.

No need to imagine, their death would be demanded; which is the exact problem I have with such classifications. Basically, there are two sets of rules depending on the perpetrators. Same type of hate crime but different punishment depending on the person carrying it out and the victim.

Only minorities can be victims of hate crimes. In 20 years or so when whites are a minority, then we can be victims of hate crimes. :devil:

Seems just as wrong to find motivation to kill because of someones skin tone as it does because they are simply a cop.

You have to understand the mindset. For example, to some hating those with religious views is funny, but god forbid you talk negatively about some issue or ideal they believe strongly about.

As you pointed out, both are hate crimes so why is one different from the other?

No, you do not understand the nature of hate crimes, and BY, because someone does not specifically belong to an organization that has a racist ideology does not for one moment preclude them from a pattern of systemic racist behaviours.

Conversely, because there are a number of people that hate cops, does not for one moment imply that there is an ideology of copism.
