Got the NOA2!! just a few Q.....

Hey all,

So my fiance got the NOA 2 last week. I'm now getting prepared for the next step. So i need to include everything in the k1 visa guide and is there anything else that I need to include???

Do i need to get him to send me his tax info the last 5 years?? or anything else ? Also where do I get my vaccination records?

Once you receive the NOA2 your case is forwarded to the National Visa Centre (NVC). From there it travels to the the US consulate either in Montreal of Vancouver depending on your geographic location. So the documents you need or rather the specifics of them are based on which consulate it goes to. Once your case arrives at the consulate you will receive a "Package 3" envelope from them. This will give you instructions on all the forms needed to send back to them. (DS-156, DS-156K, DS-160, DS-230). You can start working on some of these forms so that you are ready to send back when you receive P3.

Please tell us which consulate first (Vancouver/Montreal) you are going to be dealing with then someone with experience dealing with that one can give you consulate specific information.

Start with your own Dr for the vaccination records and then if he/she doesn;t have them all (like your childhood ones) call the local region's Healthcare unit. They should have records. I got all of mine and my daughter's (I was 35 and she 15 at the time). They sent me it in the mail. Not a bad idea to update any (boosters) you're missing once you know what you have or don't.
