Lots of info so I'll try to make it short. Had interview on the 5h, it was 2 days before my 3 years, she said she would reccommend it for approval, told me oath ceremony next week, I said I can't cause I'll be out of country, she said ok; will do it on June 16th. I told her mail the letter because she wanted me to pick it up first, but that was before I told her I won't be here. It's been two weeks now and I still got no letter. Already had to make an infopass to pick up my biometrics letter. How long should I wait now? One more week?

We were told they "try" to send the oath letter six weeks before the oath ceremony to which you are assigned. There is a list of people in line to be assigned, so even though you're all set to take the oath, we learned, there might not be space available in the next oath ceremony. So it's also a matter of waiting in the queue until space opens up.

Well, but she was gonna schedule me for one that was the following week, so if they had a space then, I don't see why there would not be one almost 1.5 months later. This is so frustrating. Not even my online status changes. Don't they send a "You are approved" letter? How do I know that I am actually approved now? Can't believe how incompetent they are.

Nope, no "you are approved" letter after passing interview and then having 3 year anniversary date pass thereafter. When we went to the infopass appointment, we were told it was approved on 5/4 (which was the day after the 3 year anniversary date) and then put in line for an oath ceremony appointment.

But that's just our experience. Anyone else get a notice of approval?
