Fiance currently in the US

Hello everyone, I'm a new user and this is my first post. I'm certain my question has been asked before, but I've been unsuccessful finding it using the search. My question is, are there any complications with, or rules against filing the 129f petition while my fiance is currently in the United States on a long term visitor visa. (b1/b2) Naturally she'd leave for her home country before the necessary appointment at the local embassy. Then return again using the k1 visa, instead of the visitor visa. I've read the instructions that come with the downloaded form, and didn't see it discussed at all. Again I'm certain this has been asked before, and I do apologize for it. I would appreciate if someone can point me to the post where this is discussed and hopefully answered. Thank you all in advance.

Yes, you can file the petition while your fiancee is here in the US.
