Last minute questions :)

Hey guys!!

I got just a few last minute clarifications/questions.

1) The I-130 instructions state to use your legal name on the application but it also states they need your " FAMILY " name. Does that mean my wife needs to put her maiden name? OR Besides that, we have already switched her last name to mine on her Canada Driver's License but NOT her passport and she won't be to get a replacement till she goes back in the middle of July. Which name is suggested please?

2) Question 21 on the I-130 asks us what was the last address we lived with our wife/husband in? Can I just write " N/A " here or will it affect the application process overall?

3) Question 14 asks on the application if your relative is currently in the U.S. at time of application. I want to be honest here and check yes but we didn't receive an I-94 when coming back from Toronto in January. The POE officer simply stated to us that she could only be here for 6 months and thats all good. No paperwork needed just a stamp in her passport and he let us on our way. What should I write in this spot? Has anyone ever been in this situation?

Thanks guys :)

You're wife's name right now is the same as yours - she should put that as 'family' name. You'll list her maiden name under 'other names used'. If you have never lived together, put N/A. Finally, you can put N/A for the I-94 and USCIS knows that Canadians frequently are not issued them

Good luck.
