call NVC, get a Human, give them the USCIS casefile #, and inquire if they have the casefile.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Ok, called them again, I was told AOS feel will be emailed if visa# becomes available. BTW what does it mean when you said, you have NVC casefile # ? Really ? Is it good or bad.

ok - pay attention to the priority date - should be in the NOA-1 or NOA-2 document.

if/when you have an NVC casefile # - it means that NVC is ready to start processing on yer case (ie - a visa # is available)

since yer an LPR, you might want to pay attention to this topic -->> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/205062-anyone-lpr-who-file-i-130-for-spouse/ - they can 'sort you out' much better than I can.
