I had my husband take a direct flight from Lagos to US comming in through atlanta......I was told before hand that if he were to go through another country before he comes here you have to get a travel visa which is more money and then for any reason going through another country if they want to they could send him back for any reason....I was taking no chances....

My husband came on an Emerites flight through Dubai to LAX and had no problem. With Nigerians some of the flight through Europe require a transit visa to land in the country so check carefully if there are any stops on the way.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
