At interview, how are the question chosen? Randomly by the computer or officer? Or are sets of 10 pre-arranged?

Also, there are 3 main chapters each with 3 sub-chapters; from each of these 9 sub-chapters there is only one question or could be more from the same place?

Thank you.

On my interview, the IO had a stack of paper (about 1/4 of an inch thick).. she grabbed one and then I realized its the questions!! She will only ask 6 btw. So, in my case, questions were already picked even before I got to the building lol. It could either be that these were her own set of questions copied over and over again OR their branch's selected questions.. or perhaps randomly selected questions for the day/week/month.. who knows. All I know is that she did not pick them right at the moment when I was in her office.

This is the same thing I experienced. She had a list with the ten questions already printed on them and read from that. She also had a prepared page with the English phrase (one of the questions) for me to read. There were 3 questions printed on the page and she told me the number of the one to read out loud. One of the other VJers noted that people who went for interviews at the same time, even in different offices, tended to get the same series of questions so it could be somewhat standardized instead of randomly chosen.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
