Hi All-

I haven't posted here before but have been reading for several months as my husband and I have been going through the "process". Thanks for all the tips and advice that I have been gleaning off of you all! :) We received our interview date via e-mail yesterday so it's not long now! Whew. I just thought I'd post our timeline for others who are filing in Australia.

28-04-2007 Moved to Australia

11-02-2010 I-130 submitted at Consulate

22-02-2010 I-130 Approved

22-02-2010 Packet 3

01-03-2010 DS-230 mailed to Consulate

03-03-2010 Medical

20-04-2010 Packet 3 mailed to Consulate

28-04-2010 E-mail with interview date received from Consulate

11-05-2010 Interview date

11-05-2010 Visa Approved!

13-05-2010 Visa received

18/09/09 - CR1 NOA1

16/07/10 - POE LAX (256 days NOA1 to interview)

27/09/10 - Aussie/American bun in the oven due May 10, 2011

06/01/11 - Submitted change of address online to USCIS. Mailed I-865 for sponsor. Neverending!

05/05/11 - Bouncing baby boy arrives

10/07/12 - Sent I-751

13/07/12 - I-751 NOA1

08/06/2008 I-130 petition at Tokyo, Japan

08/13/2008 I-130 approved

| Waited until we were ready to move back

|

07/13/2009 IV interview at Tokyo, Japan

07/15/2009 IV(IR-1) in hand

Post-DCF

07/29/2009 POE at Las Vegas

08/17/2009 GC(10yrs) received

Done with USCIS until

- naturalization in May 2012 or

- GC replacement in February 2019
