Hi all

I have a question if any one can help

There has been alot of talk about the tax transcripts during the interview or as a supporting evidence with the application.

The questions is are you guys referring to FEDERAL or STATE or BOTH?

Also on a side note, how did you guys send the photos with the N-400 application. I have so many of those to send since my application is based on 3 year marriage and I dont want them to get lost or drop. Any ideas?

Thanks

Taho Madar

To be on the safer side, I would recommend that you take both state and fed taxes with you. You never know. It might depend on the IO who interviews you. Some go for the interview and are never asked, although they are requested to bring that along to the interview. I'm not too sure about the pictures. Someone may have an input here. What am sure of is the 2 passport size pictures when sending out the N-400 application and additional 2 pictures when appearing for the interview.

Good luck!

They only want your federal returns and two DOS type passport photos

When you go to a friends or relative home, do you really enjoy when they dump a photo album in your lap or show home movies of the same kid a zillion times? With a half hour explanation of each photo when the kid is screaming in the other room? Think your IO would enjoy seeing your photos? May if a male and you really look sharp in a bikini.

Federal only. They could care less about State tax returns.

No need to take relationship-proving photos to the interview. They want to see living together proof, like bank account statements and leases, shred financial and property stuff. But if you do want to add photos, I would just make a couple of sheets of copies of the photos rather than sending the photos themselves. Best of luck!
