Just joined up and wanted to say hello really. We currently are in the process of the K1 visa. We sent our I-129f back in Feb 2010 and was given our NOA1 on Feb 17th 2010. We are now sitting around and egarly awaiting to hear on our NOA2, which although is now comming to 70days of waiting....seems like forever and a day, Im sure you agree there? lol.

We are lucky enough to have been able to see each other 4 times since Sept 2009. My man is US Army and had been deployed to Iraq in Feb 2009,he returned in Sept 2009 for R&R for two weeks...luckily we was able to have a week together then. He went back to Iraq and then made it back in time for Christmas 2009 just days close to Christmas....so we celebrated our Engagement then and had a party (UK side) and spent Christmas together :D blissfull.

Is there anyone else that recieved their NOA1 about the same time as us? Any one from the UK maybe? We are with the Vermont Centre...just hoping we hear from them soon...its like having your life on hold, we have most of our belongings in the USA now...including the dog lmao....just me and the two children left to go now...cant wait.

Good luck to one and all on your journies....may they bring many happy times to you all :)

Hi and welcome to VJ. While my NOA1 date is February 8, 2010, I filed at the CSC or California Service Center and you or your fiance(e) filed at VSC or Vermont Service Center.

One level Below this forum is a thread or topic dedicated to Feb 2010 K-1 FIlers at VSC.

In the Forum Group "K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports" here is the Link to where you need to be meeting and writing to others.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/240856-february-2010-filers-i-129f-vsc/

Unfortunately for you VSC seems to be Issuing Approvals or NOA2s in 85 to 105 days. CSC is issuing approvals in 45 to 55 days.

Your time is coming soon. Drop down to that link I gave you and read some of the postings. Check if people with NOA1 dates of Feb 1 have received approvals.

Do not hesitate to ask Questions.
