Congrats KJ on your Assoc. it is a wonderful feeling I just graduated also in Business and I can not get the motivation either.

But let us think of it this way, it will land us a better paying job more money more money can never have to much.

Yes congrats KJ on your Associates. Keep pushing forward mi gyal! You too SugarApple! Mind you when I get my Bachelor's I will be making only slightly more than I make currently and by the time I pay back student loans, it will equal what I get paid now. The only difference is, Ive been employed at my current job for 22 years and I get 5 weeks vacation, decent benefits. Now I will have summers off and can spend them in JA if I want to! (wooooooo hooooooooo) This job I considered a "job". Teaching is a "career" and a passion of mine. Getting paid to do something I love, have summers off, good benefits and pension. What more could a girl ask for? smile.gif

Oh my goodness for christ sake go on and share! You won't offend me, I won't read it if I don't want to see it sheesh headbonk.gifrofl.gif

I guess maybe because Im older, Ive been shopping this way for years so it doesn't come as a surprise to me and well I guess you younger folks are excited! More power to you.. This is an open forum so if you wanna discuss coupons go rite ahead!

Nat - Thanks, I most certainly will.

Mrstee - I don’t think it has anything to do with age or previous habits, but saving a dollar on something we needed so that my kids can enjoy something cheesy we didn’t need from the $ store or putting that in a savings towards their education funds seems exciting to me and it works great for us. I was just too lazy to do it before, but Nat has made me more aware of my behavior and the benefits I have been denying myself and my family by not taking notice.

You go girl! What exactly does your field of study include?

Its like a management major but its like a fast-track degree for people who already have an Associates or a Bachelors.

It involves a few Mgmt, Human resources, and other business classes. I only have like 4 elective classes but will be using those for my Accounts and Finance classes.

Lol its true! How is miss Marley and Jazz doing?

They are good except they are both on punishment this week for not listening. If we tell them to stop wrestling or something like that they stop for about 5 minutes and then start back up so their Dad had to lay down the law and took their TV's away from them for a week.

Finally!!! yayyyyyyyy (to the biometrics) Don't forget besa you can probably do a walk-in. It was dead as a door knob when we went to the one on Drummond Road (N.E. Philly) Congrats on the degree!

When I received my Associates Degrees I was in shock. At first I thought they issued me the wrong degree. Come to find out I was eligible for 2, Liberal Arts and Elementary Education!!! They are both hanging on my bedroom wall. It's a constant reminder of one of the reasons I get up every morning!
