travelling from USA To Phils

For those who travelled with RP Passport and US Greencard from the USA to Philippines................after being in the US does traveller need any type of documentation to present from being out of RP for three years to re enter the philippines ....also if bringing a laptop over there for personal use (and will be bringing it back home) do I need to "declare" anything, or fill out some forms? SHould I check it into the plane or do carry on???

Mailed I-751 overnight mail to Vermont Service Center 09/10/09

VSC received the I-751 Packet 09/11/09 About 12 pm Local time

Check was cashed as of Sept 16th 2009

NOA Received 09/19/09 dated 09/14/09

I-797 Appointment Notice received 10/01/09 dated 09/25/09 (Biometrics)

Got they 10 year GC approval letter in the mail dated 01/08/10! yehey!

10 GREENCARD RECEIVED 01/20/10

Citizenship.......maybe............or maybe stay a permanent resident .......................

I'm a U.S. citizen who took my laptop with me when I went to the Philippines. I did not have to fill out any forms nor did I have to declare anything in regard to my laptop. As a matter of fact, nobody gave it a second look. I definitely carried it on.

I would bring a copy of your marriage certificate (if your husband is traveling with you) to avail of Balikbayan privilege. Both of you will receive Balikbayan visa, which is valid up to one year.

I would definitely carry on your laptop. Laptops, cameras are not considered part of your allowed carry on baggage. You are allowed to bring these in addition to your carry on. Also, you'll have the peace-of-mind that your laptop is by your side...rather than possibly being stolen. You do not need to declare your laptop.
