In our instructions for form I-134 it doesn't mention that we should send our tax returns as supporting documents...they only talk about letter from employer, bank assets etc. So my question is should we send the tax returns anyway? Is it because its for the K-3 Visa and for I-130 it's going to be different? Secondly, my dad is the co-sponsor as I wasn't working for the last three years...I just got a contract that will become perm after three months..do I need to submit I-134 from my side as well or only my dad should send it? some ppl on the forum are saying that if i don't qualify i shouldn't even though i am the main applicant... If i do send it from my side, do i need to specify that i dont have my tax returns or anything cuz I wasn't working?

Thanks,

Kiny

The I-134 is only one thing that a conof at the interview may use to determine if the applicant will or wont become a public charge. Hence why further evidence is generally used aside from what it requests in the I-134 instructions. The best option is to check with others going through the same consulate as to what the specific requirements are.
