Packet 3 contains the documents the consulate sends to the beneficiary to fill out and send back like: DS-157, DS-156, and DS-156K..along with any other requested documents like the beneficiary's police clearance(s), and the petitioner's affaditive of support.

Packet 4 contains the visa appointment letter that the beneficiary MUST bring with him/her to the interview. S/he can't enter the embassy without the interview letter.

Go to the web site for the US Embassy where you will interview. Search for a link to Visas then look for a link to K Visas or Immigrant Visas. (I know K-1 is a non-immigrant visa) but many Embassies list it under immigrating Visas.

Find the Link to K appointments and Packages. You will find what your particular Embassy wants for Packet 3.

I looked and i didn't see anything on the Trinidad & Tobago US Embassy website about packet 3 or K Visa's

So the DS-230 isn't part of package 3?
