Renewing EAD 90 days before expiry?

My EAD expires in 4 months time. I have a conditional GC/PR card that expires in 2011.

I have read conflicting information, suggesting that my conditional GC is all I need to allow me to work.

Do I need to get a new EAD?

Should I submit the renewal application 90 days before it expires. (I arrived on a 1-29F, now on AOS with a conditional PR card).

Your "conditional GC" is evidence of permission to work, just like your EAD was. Now that you have the GC, you don't need the EAD.

"Conditional" in this context just means that in about two years you can apply to remove conditions on your residency. When you have successfully removed conditions, you can receive a GC that's valid for 10 years. But the GC you have now gives you the same work privileges as the GC you will get later.

great thats good to know! It appears to be a little unclear in some of the forums that the EAD is used in the interim while you GC (conditional or not) is being processed.
