Ok, so the shock of my sudden approval is wearing off, and finally my visa is in the mail. My hubby and I are looking at flights for me, and it looks like my POE is gonna be at the vancouver international airport.

I have 2 questions..

1) anybody POE there recently, what was your experience like?

2) Our daughter is 3 and she is a US citizen (I have her passport), are they going to seperate us at all? (Her go through a citizens line and me through immigration?). Im fretting that they do, because she will freak out! (and I might freak out a little too).

Thank you!

Coralie

Invictus..

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll.

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.

I am sssssssoooo excited for you and Amy,Coralie! Yooohooooo!

I had POE'd in Pearson and it was easy and painless. I had to wait like 20 minutes at the secondary room as the guy did the paperworks.I had to the the right index finger printing(manual) 3 times because the first one was pressed too hard, and the second one was too slight and luckily, I made it right the 3rd time. The guy is so patient with me. No questions asked in the secondary room. After he's done everything, he told me the conditions of my visa, handed me the passport and the boarding pass and told me that I'm set to go!!!

My plane landed in LAX at around 9.15 last night. Feels great and wonderful to be HOME with the one you love!

My POE was in Edmonton and it couldn't have been easier. Being previously denied entry to the US at that airport- they were as sweet as pie when I had my Visa in hand. LOL. I sat in the waiting room for about 10 minutes and when he called my name- everything was done. He handed me my passport, said congrats and reminded me to file for AOS.

I was previously denied entry as well. It was quite an ordeal actually. They escorted me out of the airport, and sat with me until my ride came to get me..it was SO embarressing, so needless to say, I have a serious case of POE Anxiety Disorder!

I hope it all goes smoothly!! Thank you everyone for your well wishes! If it wasnt for VJ, Id be in an institution by now for sure!!!
