Will this caused a problem on my NBI, If my complete address is 123 T. Juan Int. Street Makati City and then on my NBI when I applied for it i missed the word Int. so it was printed like this... 123 T. Juan Street Makati City. I will have to submit my DS-230 together with my NBI but kinda hesitating if this might caused me a problem...pls help any suggestion .....

Shouldn't be a problem, I think they're only worried about the results of the NBI clearance (like criminal history, jail time, arrests, etc), not so much about the address....and your part sounds like a minor error. I could be wrong but I think the NBI is just a background investigation, done by the National Bureau of Investigation......

Thanks for the respond...Yes it is about background investigation...I am just thinking about the matching up of the right address on the 1-130 that was just recently approved and now on DS-230 where NBI is required, on my address there I missed the word Int. for Intersection. I don't know what is the purpose of NBI on DS-230.If on 1-130 application they already have background checked me and was already approved, what is the use of NBI on DS-230, is it to know my whole info if will match to the docs like my exact address?

I wouldn't say that it should'nt be a problem since.. whatever you send to USCIS, or NVC is inputted to their system.

We are dealing with United States of America and its always safe to give the utmost, legible and correct information.

Any discrepancy from the information provided in those forms can result to delay. Keep in mind, adjudicators or people who review your papers are trained to protect/spot as much as possible the people who is trying to infiltrate US, considering the recent terrorism in our country.

What is going back to NBI and re-apply for another one that'll only take 1 day of your time rather than weeks and months of delay in NVC.

Now you have your votes for it being fine and votes against. You can make your own decision if the missing "int" on the address is worth getting another NBI security background investigation certificate which is used to see if you have any "background" issues in your past. I stand behind my original assement that it is not an issue with NVC or USCIS.

Thank you guys for all your suggestions. My petition is DCF, USCIS and NVC are not involved, only the local Consulate in the USE Manila is involved in processing DCF petitions . You all have a point.... Here in Cavite NBI takes 2 weeks for any kind of applications (Renewal, etc.) Maybe I will submit my NBI as it is while getting for a new one, I don't think so that would be a reason for denial if ever they questioned that minor thing right?

Actually our address on the 1-130 that was just recently got approved, my husband indicate on the address where it was asked the APT. No. (apartment no.), he wrote B as we lived in apartment B and then in the section where it was asked present address, he did not indicate the B anymore but we never had problem.. but then I will just correct it ..thanks to you all
