Letter of good health needed for medical in Toronto??

I previously read on VisaJourney that a letter from the family doctor needed to be presently during the medical. I don't see that requirement on the doctor's website. Anyone go recently for their medical who can tell me if this letter is needed. Thanks.

I believe you only require such a letter if you are on regular medication or have an ongoing condition that will be of concern.

I'm on no meds, am in overall good health, etc and required no such letter.

I personally did get one. It was a simple letter detailing how long I'd been a patient, what I had been treated for over the years (if anything) and any medications I took regularly. I personally took the pill and used a couple allergy medications.

The Dr in Toronto seemed to appreciate it, but they still did the standard exam regardless.

I didn't have one and I do have a chronic Class B medical condition. It wasn't a problem.

Never needed one, thank god, if I had needed one my GP wouldn't have writen it for me bcause she was a very bad Dr.

Im really sure this would only be needed if there is something to be concerned about in your history that you need to let them know for sure its no longer an issue, or perhaps if you are on a steady medication that is used to keep you healthy

I had my medical on the 5th, my answer was "No" to all the medical "have you ever had" questions...and no one asked for such a letter

I didn't bring a Dr letter but brought the prescription history list from my pharmacy, that helped alot.
