For those who had their N400 interview, is the IO will ask about the constitution says?and Oath of Allegiance ?do you need to memorize those words? Thanks

Wife was asked questions about the US Constitution, but were verbatim to the hundred questions given to you to study. You have to be able to read the oath as stated at the end of the N-400 out loud, but don't have to memorize it.

She said hardly two minutes were spend on both the civics and English tests, rest was going through all the questions on the N-400 and proving with pieces of paper she was married to me. Could of came out to the waiting room and asked me if I was married to her or even looked at our marriage certificate. But was more of a game as to how we are paying bills together.

When taking Oath of Alleg... you just say YES when IO is done reading it. No need to know what const. says
