I used bookingbuddy.com and cheapOair.com from there...but looking at both sites (cheapOair.com and expedia.com) going to atlanta they are almost identical in price AND not using Delta. But I just put june 16th in for a date not looking at your timeline.

I kinda went on my own on that one, used expedia but did it in segments and saved a bundle, I travel/live in Mindanao so I hunt the cheapies all the time, here's the latest - Air China (not to be confused with China Air) is offering a MNL - SFO (or LAX same price) flight for 594 incl taxes and fees SFO - ATL 85.00 book in advance ! booking buddy, expedia, orbitz, cheapO air, all search engines just research and you will find the deals good luck ! :star:

Yeah I liked Asiana too last time I went to PH. They have really good service. But I ended up having a long layover in Seoul.

As far as cheapest airlines, I think Air China has the cheapest rate, but you end up being stuck in Bejing for a while. I'm sending Wilma back to US on a PAL direct flight from Manila, I don't want her to be stuck in Korea or China for a 10 hr layover. Worth a few hundred extra dollars for her not to go through that mess.

Yeah but you live on the West Coast.. PAL really needs to do a direct flight into JFK instead of just LAX/LAS.. For me to get to LAX would be just a nightmare, so Milagros is coming in via Delta to JFK. I really wish she should have just come in via a direct flight, but it's not possible. Living in CT, there aren't any real direct International flights so it's 2.5 hours for me to drive down to JFK to fetch her and then of course the 2.5 hours drive back. She's going to be so tired and yet so excited at the same time..

only 2.5 hour drive? I have a 6-7 hour drive to anchorage...and that is the best place to do some shopping...so that is why I am making the drive.
