You think 6months-1 year is milking the system? I do agree the system need to change

A few people, and example is this lady who got a temporary Job for less money, when the Job expired they recalculate her unemployment benefit and they counted the last 3 months, so when she got back on unemployment she was worsed off, if she didn't take that Job her unemployment check would have been the same, now she got penalized because she got a job.

Is any work better than no work? Not for unemployment benefits.

Unemployed Americans who take parttime or temp work may find that their unemployment benefits get cut after that job ends. It's a disincentive to work, but Congress is moving to remedy that.

Instead of fussing around with measly unemployment benefits, Obama should just give $1 million dollars to every man woman and child in the US.

That would be around a mere $300 Million, right? In light of the billions and billions handed out in the past year, this seems reasonable.

Math fail. 300million people X $1million dollars = 300 X 10^6 X 10^6 = 300 X 10^12 = 300 trillion dollars. But what's a few trillion amongst friends, right?
