Hepatitus B Vaccine for AOS since 12/14/09

The civil surgeon I consulted with claims that the Hepatitus B vaccine is mandatory for immigration however I read on the CDC's website that it's only required under the age of 18 or if the person has been sexually active, drugs, have HIV.....

For those who filed for AOS and had their medical after 12/14/09 did you have the Hepatitus B shots?

I had my medical November 11, 2009...Hepatitis B was marked as Not Age Appropriate. I was 22 at the time of the medical.

Either show the CS what's required or go to a different one.

ok thank you. The worst that could happen is that we get a RFE to get the shot.

I already paid her for the exam. I called 2 other doctors and they claim it is not necessary. I also asked her for a copy of the I-693 once she completes it and she told me that she can't give a copy which seems strange so I checked the USCIS website and it does state that a copy should be given to the applicant. I wish I never chose her, she is very out dated.
