when it comes to a police reports,if i was in a usa on a student visa for 5 years,will i need to get one from usa, or just my home country police report will do? its confusing coz it says if you lived in a foriegn country for more than a year you need to get it , but then how do i go about it since i am no longer in usa.

thank you,and i am just wondering,we are about to send the i129f package. thank you for your answer,still a long time untill i will have to deal with the embassy

but the PC is not needed until you get to the embassy/consulate.... that is why the question about PC's are best posted in the consulate forum
