Hi Alaba,

The number you call is DOS(department of state) 202-663-1225. To make it easier so you don't have to listen to everything, you just press 1 and then 0 to talk to a operator. Make sure you have your MTL case number, they will ask for it. They will also ask you your name and date of birth. I just called and got threw pretty quick.. :D

That sounds great to me, I'll take the Monday shift :content: Also the DOS operator dudes have been quite friendly this week, encouraging me to call every 2nd day (when I ask them when should I call again hehe) to check on the case. I'll take that as motivation to keep being persistent :energy:

Awwwww Wishing, I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who NEEDS to call often because I'm too impatient to find out!!!

So I'll call today at around 2:30 this afternoon. Then, do you think we should call on Monday or Tuesday?

I guess I should take it one day at a time, haha! Gosh! Must stay patient!

Keep you posted later on!

Hey @ Vero and Chris - haha yes I feel the need to call often. And quite honestly I find things have been moving so fast recently that its helped to call often as I keep on top of the information I need. Albeit in all reasoning looking at timeslines likely an interview date won't come until 2-3 weeks at least after the logging in of the packet. But then I look at the NVC and most people say to wait 2 weeks before calling...if I had followed that rule then I wouldn't have known how quickly the packet was moving. Not that it makes a difference in the end...but isn't the journey more important then the destination hahaha. Trying to rationalize our persistence hehehe. :energy:

Hey guys, I need some help. My Medical is coming up on May 12 and I got my "records" of immunization. The thing is I only have 2 records of vaccines. First one was in January of this year when I got My booster shot and then i had to get a blood test to see if I had the MMR shot when I was born because I was born in El Salvador and came when I was 4 months old so i couldn't get the records. Do you think that will be enough?

To Alaba: I guess maybe the medical office will have to give you every shot you need to pass your medical... I would call them and inquire about this. Worse comes to worse, if they don't have proof you've had the vaccine before, they'll just give them to you I'd think... It might be pricier though... I would call the medical office and ask if I were you.

So, I called DOS at 2:30, didn't wait long at all and got through with a very nice and helpful lady! But no interview date yet... Hopefully next week will bring good news!
