Timeline

Hey guys,

I'm on J1 visa not subjected to the two years rule. I can't find in the instructions what should write in item no.16 about the eligibility category in form I-765 ????

and regarding USCIS office??? which one to write ??? /i'm in Green bay WI.

Adjusting from J1 visa:

03/29/2010: got married.

04/10/2010: sent AOS package( I-130, I-485 & ...)

04/12/2010: Package received at Chicago lockbox.(Day1)

04/16/2010: check cashed.(Day4)

04/16/2010: all forms touched(Day4)

04/20/2010: 3 NOAs received.(Day8)

04/28/2010: Received 2 letters for Biometrics Appointment to be on 5/21/2010 !!! Too far away.

05/03/2010: I-130 updated.

05/06/2010: walked in and did my biometrics.(Day24)

05/07/2010: I-485, I-765 updated.

05/21/2010: original biometrics appointment.

05/24/2010: received interview letter.(Day42)

06/08/2010: I-485 was touched.

06/21/2010: EAD card production.(Day69)

06/23/2010: I-130 & I-485 are touched.

06/25/2010: EAD card production ordered AGAIAN!!!!

06/30/2010: Interview day(Day78)APPROOOOVED(Alhamdulellah):)

06/30/2010: Approval notice sent for EAD card :)

06/30/2010: GC production ordered. yaaaay :)

07/02/2010: received my EAD card Alhamdulellah again and again :)

07/07/2010: Welcome letter ; approval of my I-485

07/08/2010: Letter stating approval of the I-130

07/17/2010: I received my GREEN CARD.

The category would be ©(9) if you are filing I-130 and I-485 concurrently. The USCIS office again depends on whether you are filing the forms concurrently - read the instructions to I-130 and find the correct Chicago lockbox there depending on your situation.

10/07/2007 Entered the US on J-1 visa

11/03/2008 Changed status to F-1

02/14/2010 Married

03/15/2010 Filed AOS (from F-1)

05/27/2010 AOS approved, GC Issued

02/28/2012 Mailed I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

03/01/2012 I-751 received by CSC/NOA Issued

03/15/2012 Biometrics letter sent

04/12/2012 Biometrics appointment per letter

05/27/2012 GC expires
