My husband was put on AP. His interview was in third week of feb 2010.

I sponsored(self) him, I mentioned my current job in AOS submitted to NVC, and now I want to change my job.

My question is,

1. Since the interview is already done, Do I have to inform consulate or NVC or USCIS about my job change?

2. I called USCIS to find the AP status, they said it is still in AP. I asked where is my file, they said, they don't know.

My question is, since USCIS could pull up my information, can I assume that my hubby's file is with USCIS?

Advice please.

I am not positive but your husbands case should still physically be with the Embassy and the only thing I have ever read is that you need to update an address change with USCIS. If you feel better you can always e-mail the Embassy with the info

My spouse was interview and bcz of the missing document they sent the case back to Delhi again after we were approved of our I-601 waiver. Does anyone know how long it can take if its matter of documents?
