Hi everyone,

I am a bit confused after looking at the NVC website and the wiki for electronic filing. I am at the NVC stage, I have paid the IV bill, but I have not received any e-mail or communication telling me to fill out and send the DS-230 package yet. Should I just go ahead and send it...that's what the wiki seems to indicate. The web site seems to say not to send anything without the NVC telling you to. But I don't know if that applies for e-filing or what. The payment has passed, and I do have the receipt.

Any advice...I don't want it to go any slower than it already has.

As soon as we got the confirmation that the payment was accepted, we printed the cover sheet and sent in the DS-230 package. It was fine with us although we didn't do electronic processing. I'm not sure if it will be different for you.
