Let me explain this agian. Right now i am unemployed. I don't have a job. I been unemployed for the past 7 months. So, i am not able to provide the affidavit of support. I also don't have a co-sponsor. My last communication with NVC was in December 09. What i am asking is Do i have to tell NVC that i don't have a job that's why there is a delay on my part in sending the affidavit of support.

thanks

They will NOT send you ANYTHING. Once your bill clears and shows as PAID, you need to send in your I-864 package.

If you don't meet the income requirements, you will need to find a joint sponsor. Otherwise, your case cannot resume processing.

So you either find a job, or you find a joint sponsor.

Recommended AOS package:

I-864 Coversheet (with barcode) for payment of $70

Form I-864 (signed and dated)

2008 Federal Tax Return/W2 and 1099s or IRS tax transcript.

2007 Federal Tax Return and W2 and 1099s or IRS tax transcript.

2006 Federal Tax Return/W2 and 1099s or IRS Tax Transcript

Letter of Employment

Pay stub(s) from the most recent six months

Bank Statements.

Just read your post again.

You have until 1 year from your "last step" to send your stuff in. You don't have to explain anything to them. You can send the stuff in whenever you're ready.

03/27/2009: Engaged in Ithaca, New York.
08/17/2009: Wedding in Calcutta, India.

03/23/2010: Case completed.
