Good Morning All,

I am ready to send the required I-864 form with all supporting docs. My question is since I am filing for my wife and son will I have to submit two separate I-864 Forms. What has me confused is that I filed two separate I-130s, which makes me believe I would have to file two I-864s but when making a payment it was just one for $70. Which the NVC mention would cover both forms. Can someone share their advice. I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Yes, if they are on the same 864, you can simply make a copy of the original and attach it to the other application.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

you must have received two different covers from NVC for your wife and son, so it is better you send two seperate I 864 for each person, they maintain two different files for each person.

We just sent in our i-864's, One for Myself and one for my son. However i did read somewhere that you could photocopy the i-864 for additional members. So i am guessing you could do it either way. I just wanted to be safe so we did one for each person . :)

Your correct - you must of read it on the 864 form:

You must submit a Form I-864 affidavit of support for each intending immigrant you are sponsoring. You may submit photocopies if you are sponsoring more than one intending immigrant listed on the same affidavit of support.
