My husband wants to quit his current job. IT is not related to our visa petition or anything.

HOWEVER, according to the embassy website you CANNOT quit your job before they give you a visa!!!! how is this possible?? if someone quits a job how can they not give you a visa??

http://tokyo.usembassy.gov/e/visa/tvisa-ivapptrequest.html

Can he quit his job??? Will he fail at the interview if he quits his job now??

on the I-130 and DS230 we have listed his current job, but he only recently needs to quit.

What should we do? Can anyone help or advise us? Can he get another job? If he gets another job and I list that on the DS230, is that OKAY???? help someone!

USCIS Tokyo is simply trying to warn you that in the case you do not recieve a visa you should not make pre-arrangements basically "do not count your chickens before thier hatched" They will be much more interested in the ongoing abilty to prove financial support :)

I quit my job before the beneficiary interview.

The consular officer doesn't care if the beneficiary has a job or not.
