Hello,

Wondering if anyone (probably a newbie) is in the same situation. I send our I-129F on July 19 to CSC. Got delivery confirmation from the post office that it was delivered July 21st. But I haven't received the NOA1 yet. No, the check hasn't been cashed either.

Is it just our case or are there other's in the same situation? I'm hoping that there was alot of work required to send all of those NOA2s that were processed at the end of July...which is preventing them to process new visa applications. To those veteran VJers, have you seen or heard of this happening before?

Congrats to all of you new NOA2ers! I just wanna be a NOA1er for now!

With the entire IMBRA situation and fiasco, USCIS has slowed down on everything. It could take one month before you receive your NOA. Stay on top of it with your bank so you know when the check is cashed - then you can get the receipt number from the back of your check and sign on up online case status.

Good luck - hopefully your journey won't be nearly as brutal as the past few months have been for most here. . . .
