Not good news or bad, but an update :)

Hi everybody,

As this journey has been full of surprises for us. I wanted to update you on what has happened. That 221g he recieved was actually a letter and not the exact 221g form that they issue. It simply stated that under section 221g they can not issue the visa until the administrative processing is complete, and told him they will contact him once they are complete. On a positive note I spoke to someone at DOS after inquiring at a few numbers on their website that my fiance should be able to get his visa by the end of the month. I told him my frustrations and he told me to just hold on tight that based on his 2nd interview he does not feel that we will have to start over again. I kind of figured that when they told him during his 2nd interview that he was approved, but it was nice to get the confirmation. He said it should be a month and said I won't say exactly March 31, but around that time. It was like he was looking at something and had privy information. But, that was the first time someone was able to give me a timeframe. I guess he understood my frustrations about my wedding planning request. It was nice how confidently he assured me. Can DOS know exactly when you will be issued the visa and give you a timeframe? Lets see what the coming weeks bring.

Thank you Sachinky, Sara, and Tasha. I am not giving up and I have been trying to make calls to people whenever I get a chance to get some answers. But, seriously will not believe it until the visa is issued.
