Hi Everyone!

My question is, I don't remember the dates (month/year) of the following last 5 residences that I have lived at. Is this important to put these? If so can it be a guess? Or can I put something else in the box as n/a or don't remember? I am doing all this on another sheet.

Regards,

Mike

Hey Mike - 1st, its where you have lived the last 5 years, not the last 5 residences!!! That may help to make it a bit easier. I had difficulty to remember also. I pulled my records to find things to help, for example I had purchased a new home 4 years ago, so I dug up the mortgage papers to see when we closed and moved in. It is important so look through old records to refresh your memory or get with some family or friends and try to get it as close as possible! If you save things you should be able to get it.

Hiya,

My bad about the last 5 residences.. lack of sleep. I do meant last 5 years. Sorry about that. I'll try to remember all that information, I was in a house fire a couple years ago and I lost alot of information so I am having alot of trouble remembering all this stuff. So tis why I asked about the question if it's really important to put the correct months. I can remember the years..

Regards,

Mike

As long as what you put does not conflict with other information you should be fine. Just try to get it as close as possible and look through your other documents to see if there might be any conflicting information. Sorry to hear about the fire and thank goodness you are ok!

Maybe you could requested past bank or tax transcripts, they would have addresses and may refresh your memory. Also, your employer should have a record of changes of address (if you've been with the same employer for this time).

Hope those ideas help and Good Luck on your journey!!

My suggestion to you is to get online and order a Free Credit Report. The credit bureaus have this information on you. Additionally, it would give you an opportunity to look at your credit history and clean up any blemishes and cancel any credit cards that you are not using.

Good Luck,

Franc
