Yes, She can have early medical before scheduling the interview. Many have others on VJ have done the same thing. So long as you have your NOA2 or even the embassy email stating you can set the interview. Hopefully someone else on VJ will answer exactly what documents you will need to show at St. Luke's for her to get the early medical. I do know it is possible and has happened.

Hi, yeah...lots of folks here do the advance medical. All you need is the Manila Embassy case number and a copy of your NOA2. Well you need a few more things, like passport photos and such... best resource is the St Luke's walk through here (thanks again NINJONES  ):

my wife did her advanced medical on 23-24 Feb. No issues. Just make sure you have the passport photos, NOA2, something with the NVC case number on it, and passport...bring a pen too and something to pass the time while waiting. We went about lunchtime and my wife was done in about 5 hours the first day and was told to come back at 130 the second day..she was done in about 3 hours that day. Goodluck with the medical!

Yes, you can. Just bring a scanned copy of your NOA2 with you and know your case# and you're good to go. Having a advance medical is often a good idea IMO, this way you'll find out soon if there is some additional tests that will come along.
