hi guys

i am here in bakersfield,california.i came here on a K-1 visa.i got married on 24 january.i filed for AOS.i got RFE letter to submit I-864.but problem is my wife is not working and is jobless currently.can my father-in-law file I-864 on behlaf of my wife or any other solution.father-in-law has a state job and earning very good.can u guys suggest me something.i am really worried about this.

your wife will still have to file one and your father in law would file one as a co-sponsor.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Don't forget that along with the father-in-law's I-864 and proofs of income, you must also send something to show his legal presence to live and work in the US. It can be a US born birth certificate, US passport, naturalization certificate, etc. (photocopies accepted.)
