Hi guys,

Background: I am going to be applying for a tourist visa(not sure for how long should I apply for 6 months or 2 years, I would appreciate your input) for my mother. She is a Pakistani citizen but has been living in the US for the last 10 years. She is also has a green card. She had a valid tourist visa for 2 years to the UK which expired recently. She has no overstays, no crimes whatsoever. She is a housewife and thus does not work. I support her financially.

Basically whenever I get holidays from work, I love to visit the UK. London is the most beautiful city that I and my family cannot just seem to get bored of. And plus my fiance resides there !

All of my other family members are US citizens and will be traveling together.

Can you please tell me if the following evidence will be sufficient to make a strong case for a visit visa to the UK for 6 months - also, please feel free to suggest more items to the list.

1) Round trip tickets

2) A copy of my lease - which has her name on it

3) A copy of her passport which shows the previous UK visa that just expired along with the entry and exit stamps, showing a consistent and dependable travel history

4) A signed notarized letter stating that I will be supporting my mother financially as she accompanies me to UK for my time off from work. I am a US citizen.

5) My recent pay stubs

6) My bank statements

7) My round trip ticket for the same date and flight

She does not have a bank account nor have she ever work, she is also shown on my tax return as a dependent.

So does the above list looks good? if not, can you please suggest what can I add?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
