that's not exactly something to brag about - that's 30k on one oil change.

I've had many American vehicles get 150,000 plus miles without major repairs. BY comes from a country that hasn't made any significant contributions to the world, hence his jealousy with American and his deep rooted desire that he really was an American. He has citizenship by a certificate, not by birth. He's a wannabe, a has been who never was.

Update: Took Adams car to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion. He doesnt seem to think its the motor mounts, he said something about the fan & wants to look at it more on Monday.

Scandal, Adams car does start and runs. The only issue is that when he turns on the AC, about a minute later under the hood will shudder for like 2seconds, then is normal for a minute and does it as long as the AC is on. If the AC is not on, it doesnt make any shaking its pefect. I dont see what motor mounts have to do with that.

What I dont get is that 2 mechanics come up with 2 different things about Adams car issue.

I'm thinking if it were the motor mounts you could put your foot on the break move it in and out of gear and watch the if there is play in the mount.

THe problem you described does sound like something else.

my first thought would be something is out of whack (balance) where the AC spins, is the part where the belt goes around it loose?

I have seen bolts actually work loose.

With the belt tension on it... it might be hard to tell, take the belt loose and see how it spins and if it is loose.
