Hello my fellow members,

Ok AOS and IV fee bill was already paid,,got the coversheet with barcode printed. We got the email instructions that we can now download the I-864 and DS-230 form.

I ,the biological mother of the benefeciaries is the agent. Am really confused what to do next?

My questions are:

1,In filling out the I-864 should i include my income aside from my husband's? am working full time since July of last year and we filed our Income tax jointly?

2. Do we have to wait for NVC to send us the I-864 forms?and the DS-230 forms?

3.What are the documents needed to submit with the I-864?My kids are 11 and 7 yrs. old.

4.Hubby lost his job couple of months ago and stopped paying child support the times he was unemployed,, would it be a problem?DHR got half of our tax refund for his 13 yr. old daughter.

5. ABout the DS-230..when do i need it? SHoud l scan this form and have my kids print them in the Philippines and sign and send it to me?I am the agent.

6.If the kids have to sign the DS-230 form should they sign the page 2 and page 4 or just page 2?

Please i really need your help guys as i am confused about this and not sure what to do next?

Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, if you are the petitioner then you should submit I-864 and if your income is below the poverty guidelines then your husband needs to file I-864a. Please check the below link for poverty guidelines..

http://liheap.ncat.org/profiles/povertytab...10/popstate.htm

Even though you are filing jointly the IRS tax transcripts will show income both yours and your husband. Since you will also be sending in the employment letter and the last 6 months pay stubs it will show them how much you are making currently......and also you will be sending in your last year W2 and that will list your yearly income.....

Me and my wife file jointly and i was the petitioner for my parents and since my income was above the poverty guidelines..i submitted the IRS tax transcripts along with my employment letter and last 6 months pay stubs...

2. Do we have to wait for NVC to send us the I-864 forms?and the DS-230 forms?

No, you can get them online and here are the links...

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864.pdf

http://travel.state.gov/pdf/DS-0230.pdf

3.What are the documents needed to submit with the I-864?My kids are 11 and 7 yrs. old.

Here are the documents...that you need...and this what i sent...

 A covering letter listing all the things that you are submitting

 I-864 Document Cover Sheet

 I-864 Affidavit Form

 Employment Letter from your employer

 Current Year Pay Stubs, last 6 months

 Last 3 years W-2 copies

 IRS Tax Return Transcripts copies for the last 3 years

4.Hubby lost his job couple of months ago and stopped paying child support the times he was unemployed,, would it be a problem?DHR got half of our tax refund for his 13 yr. old daughter.

I do not know the answer to this....SORRY

5. ABout the DS-230..when do i need it? SHoud l scan this form and have my kids print them in the Philippines and sign and send it to me?I am the agent.

Since you already paid the IV Fee and you have the DOCUMENT COVER SHEET and now is the time to send in......since your kids are minors you can sign on behalf of them .......

6.If the kids have to sign the DS-230 form should they sign the page 2 and page 4 or just page 2?

Since your kids are minors...you will sign them but only DS-230 PART 1 (page 2) and DO NOT SIGN on PART 2 of DS-230 (page 4 )

Please i really need your help guys as i am confused about this and not sure what to do next?

Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks,

Raj
