hi all - just wondering what your police record from canada looks like. i put a request for it late december...and something came to me in the mail today from canada police. are my records in an envelope within the envelope? can I open this envelope? (since I am guessing there is another envelope within?)

Yes, you can open it.

All of them are different, from the police, because there are variations in how each police department does theirs.

I assume you mean the RCMP fingerprint version?

yes - the RCMP fingerprint version. its just that its so thin and it looks like there is only a piece of paper in it. so it looks like if i open it, i will be able to see my criminal record and i thought it said that it had to be unopened for the us embasy to accept it....
