I'm the wife of an American Soldier;

I'm the hope that lives within him after storm clouded days.

The freedom from war that gives wings to his heart,

May they reach across the miles and bind our hearts together

I highly suggest trying to get married on the first or 2nd day you arrive if possible, it took me about 20 days to get it done. I filed for a visa extension, The whole month my wife and I would ask each other "think we are married yet? " finally we got the papers back.

The sooner you can start the better just to be on the safe side, you should be fine in 3 weeks, just start quickly and make sure you fill it out right the first time.
