recent I-134 supporting documents usable for I-864?

Hi

Vicky's interview was in January and we already got married (we wanted the Valentine's day anniversary).

I sent her an I-134 form with letter from the bank and letter from my employer, both dated at the end of December, 2009. I kept copies of everything.

Are these recent enough to send with my I-864 or should I have them re-done? My income is beyond the 125% and I have copies of my tax returns from 2008 and 2009, plus recent paystubs for proof.

K1:

I would suggest if it's no issue to get them redone (with a date closer to the filing of the AOS) - it will only help you to do so.

Your tax transcripts will take up the lions share of the "proof" - so you should only be concerned about the letter from the employer.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I sent in the same transcripts and the same employer letter dated from July, 2009 but sent in the most recent pay summaries (which show the same employer as back in July). No RFEs so far.

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

My wife was approved with no problems when I used the same tax transcripts, employee letter, and new paystubs.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony
