Written Statements as Evidence of Meeting?

Hello

Me again with another question. Starting to prepare my I-129F now. My question is over some more options of the proof of having met in the past 2 years. Obviously and hopefully like most of you this is your first time through this process like me, and Im just not sure how much evidence is needed. I have pictures of us together, a few emails, but no phone records, we used msn messenger everyday to talk and with microphone capabilities didnt see any point in spending $100s on phone bills when we could talk to each for free this way. We have his stamp in his passort of course and the pics but I really want to send as much as I can. Too much evidence couldnt hurt as not enough. SO my questions is this. If you get friends and Family and other witnesses who saw you togther to sign or write statements saying they did with the dates/times/situation do you think this would be any help? My boyfriend met a ton of my friends and family while we were in the US togther. I thought maybe getting them all to sign or write statements saying they saw us togther and the circumstances might be good. Anyone have any ideas or opinions about this?

Thanks Cat

How does it happen, Great love?... Noone knows.. But I what I do know is it happens in a blink of an eye. One minutes your happily living your life and the next your wondering how you ever lived without them.

Pictures, with both names and date on the back, are good evidence. So are your plane tickets, hotel statements. I'm not sure about having others write letters for you. The pictures together, hotel receipts and plane ticket receipts should do the trick!

You didn't specify which country the beneficiary of the petition is from; so, do what makes you comfortable - I sent 2 pictures, a copy of my itinerary and a two line statement on the form.

Sending letters from family seems like an overkill at this poiny. You can do that if you get an RFE, which I doubt in your case, as you have more evidence then I sent. Good Luck

He is from the UK :) and as I said Im just making sure, its better to have too much then not enough and I dont want any RFE's! that will just make the whole process take longer! :P So hopefully I can send as much evidence as I can the first time round.

Catica,

You mention e-mails and MSN Messenger. Things of this type are evidence of communication, they are not evidence of having met in person.

We got a letter from the priest that will marry us to send with the application where she stated that we had met her to plan the wedding and set the date and some more I think. I haven´t actually seen that letter yet. Will be bringing it with me to the interview. I´m pretty sure that helped a lot, we only had one picture of us together to go along with it.
