Hi,

Our interview was over on Feb-9-2010. But the interviewer didn't give the decision at the end of the interview and he said that we will get the decision/ updates in the mail. I just wonder why don't they give the decision at the end of the interview?

I heard that small service centers take long time to give the decision. Is it true?

(Or)

they are not satisfied with our interview that's why they didn't give the decision right away? But our lawyer told us that our interview went good.

Plz. share ur thoughts/ experiences. I am tensed.

Probably looking over your evidence - you may not of made a strong case, and further review is needed.

So you will have to be patient and see what happens.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

They are not supposed to tell if you passed or failed after the interview, they give you a white sheet of paper and tell you that he will mail his decision. We were told the samething by the CO and we got an email from USCIS the sameday a few hours later.. so just give them sometime..
