I think we are all ready for the interview. Scott is coming tonight & we will get everything in order. We are driving to Montreal tomorrow morning for my Fri. interview. Wish us luck!!!!

Best of luck, girlie! I'm sooo glad that you got your house sold, everything's falling into place for you! It always does. Good things come to those who wait etc.

And yes, UK, pictures pleeeeeeeeeease! You've got to come up for air eventually! ;)

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Wedding pictures! Because I'm shameless. http://s956.photobucket.com/albums/ae47/AmeriDaneWedding/

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

LMAo, Im here.....Im sorry we haven't got the pics back just yet. Im going to get Ken to make on of those pages that I can send the link and you can go over to view them I think, ive attached afew but had to take them from my phone lol but at least you get to see some. The day was great, our children are so damn awesome and the butterfly release was a real hit. The mansion was the most perfect place we could have imagined. The weather was kind to us....no rain but it wasn't to hot, although Ken was still boiling....OMG he looked so incredible, he truly is the ultimate "Mr Darcie".

The next day after the wedding, Ken had booked us to go on a horse treck ( I love horses lol and have always wanted one ) It was so prefect as I had no idea, we just drove there and he sprung it on me. We took the horses through a lickle creek, so awesome taking them through the water...then we headed to a place to eat, then went back to our beautiful mansion...omg the breakfast in bed was awesome and the huge bath tub with lights and jets lol...he he he. Anyway, he is back at work now and the children back to school. My family are here until Monday, they are loving being here and both families get on great...we are all going to Kens Grandmothers tomorrow for a huge family dinner :)

Huggles to everyone, thanks for the support throughout this build up...I still cant believe that we has finally done it and we dont have to leave eachother again.....We keep looking at each other and grinning...Ken keeps saying...lol we are married lol. I love it.

Leslie, I am sure that you are at the consulate right now. All will go well if you left the midget and donkey at home. Don't play with the box.LOL. I look forward to reading this weekend that all went well and you were approved. Go get 'em girl.

Solmarc, have you sobered up yet? Have another. You will be busy the last few weeks you are in Dominican.

UK, I would say nice pics, but I'm not gay. Where is the open bar at? Just kidding. I'm glad that it went so well for you.

Lohninck, you are like me, missing in action most of the time. Have a great weekend.

Cdnangel, any word? I think it was you that still did not have an NOA2. That sucks the big one.

Well, this Saturday is still supposed to be in the 90's. Guess where Veka wants to go? Not the mountains, you got it, the beach. Hmmm, let me think, spend my day at the beach with cold pivo, sun, water, and my smokinhotkova. I'm in. Now this is a true story. Coming back last Sunday, I let Veka drive on the interstate, not too much traffic. After about 30 minutes I asked her if she wanted to keep driving until traffic got heavier. She asked how she was doing. I joked good that she had not killed me yet. No sooner had I gotten those words out of my mouth, a hearse passed us in the fast lane. Seriously. Hearses in Ukraine look the same as ours do here. She recognized it and said it must have seen her driving and been following us for an easy pickup. I told her she could not kill me now, the hearse passed us and was gone. I let her continue on for another 20 minutes, no more hearses. Lucky me. She is starting her professional driving lessons next week. A scheduling conflict prevented her from starting them already. I think it will save our marriage if someone else does most of the instructing. I will be at the beach if you need me.

heyas. no no it's Paul and Vanessa that are still waiting on the NOA bs.

Joe and I are waiting for the US Army to wrap up some matters before he is able to PCS to New York. in the meantime, i've got my medical coming up on the 5th and my interview on the 26th. we're hoping that Joe is able to make it to the interview but we're preparing for a solo trip if need be. but that's still 5wks away and who knows, maybe the Army will get off their butts and finish w/e it is that they're doing. GRR! other then that, i'm just vegging at my parents place, walkin' the dog, visiting friends & family, packing up things i had shipped to my parents place, signing over everything to my mum as power of attorney and then away i go.

*waits anxiously for Leslie to return home or pop in and let us all know how she's doin'*

and UK....wow....beautiful bride and groom. he had a very handsome jacket and i absolutely adore your gown. very lovely. best wishes to the both of you (L)

Yup...... 7 months and counting here now as of tomorrow.

It's in "RFE Review" which is flat out stupid when they had everything they needed to begin with and we never ever should have gotten an RFE...... what do you expect from morons who work for the feds though?

They have "touched" it the past 4 days in a row... We don't know what the hell is going on over there. It's damn annoying and frustrating as hell and then on top of that we'll have to deal with Montreal once it finally gets passed on? Ugh. Big freakin' nightmare this has become.

Uk i am planning flying to US in Oct, the 16th... i am putting everything in order, i have to go to my embassy here and unregister, and as soon as i move to US go to my embassy in NY and register there... leave my job, give the days notice, that i already did, and unfortunately leave my cat and try to explain my family how to take care of her cause she is not easy to handle... really bad humor. lol

Les... i am waiting...

Paul and Vanessa, interview has to come soon... hopefully all together...

I've got my toes in the water, my #### in the sand, got no worries in the world, a cold beer in my hand. Life is good today. I let Veka drive us to the beach today. We made it. No hearses followed us. She didn't do too badly. All of the beach shops are advertising end of the season sales. Veka said that this afternoon we have to go bikini shopping. It sucks to be me. Maybe I will just go to the grocery store and buy saran wrap. Works for me. I should have mixed up a batch of margaritas for today. That would have been key. Maybe for lunch. Y'all have a great weekend. I'm gonna just hang with my smokinhotkova. Life is good today.

wow...this is really getting out of had. and NVC hasn't said peep to you guys? what about congressman? are you guys completely in the dark? what was the RFE for? or have you not even gotten the paperwork back from that yet? this just sounds retarded to me. i'd be livid!

The congresswoman's office is the one who sent the RFE back to them and told them they were basically stupid.

They asked for a legal document that was already present there and signed by a judge, county clerk, and had the county embossed seal on it as well. So they had it, yet they didn't want to accept it with all of that on it... So the congresswoman's office sent them a letter, another copy, and said "hey look, you have this. it's legal. it's right. here's a phone number to call if you question it. stop being morons."

We were pissed to get the RFE for it to begin with as they had the document..... so yeah... more wait, wait, wait, as you know how they don't like to tell you anything about what they are thinking....
