I-129F Package - Is it okay to place it in a file folder with hole punch on the top?

Hi folks.

My fiance and I have finally completed gathering all the documents that we will be including in the petition package, and I was just wondering if any of you know whether it would be okay to hole punch all the documents on the top and insert it into a file folder? I've also added three divider tabs to separate the sections. Is this also okay?

Thing is, the front of the folder is solid, but I was just going to stick a label with our names and "I-129F Petition Package" on it. Do they prefer that it just be open w/o a folder but attached with a folding clip instead?

Karla, if you're going to hole punch it at the top you could just get some of the fasteners and save yourself the folder. Our's was two hole punched with a fastener at the top. The tabs are a great idea then I just used two paper clips to secure the bank money order to the top page (the cover letter).

Yup, I bought a box of 100 of the two-hole punch fasteners for something like $1.98 at Office Depot. It's over in the area with all the hole punches and stuff.

I have 100 in he Philadelphia area due to the fact that my fasteners were smaller than the holes. D'oh!
