Hi - i'm really hoping someone can help. I'm a US Citizen and got married to a F-1 student last year. He graduated in December 2009, and his grace period ends middle of February. We are living in the US. I recently submitted the I-130, but am now not sure if that was the correct form to submit? Should I have submitted I-485 instead? Also, does anyone know if it is possible to submit the I-485 at this point? I just want to ensure that he does not have to leave the US. Please help!

You should have submitted both together at the same time.

If you want him to stay then you need to submit the I-485 ASAP

YMMV

Thank you. Do you know if any supplemental documents need to be submitted along with the I-485 form??

look at the instructions...

one thing for certain is proof of the i-130 filing

YMMV
