F-1 student, filed i-485, i-131, i-130 and i-765

Regarding I-485, it says:

On January 13, 2010, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location

What does that even mean? And what is the national benefits center? :/

----------------------------------

The package was: received 4 dec 2009.

Day 25 All forms touched

Day 15 got letter about bio

Day 26 about I-485 they requested a copy/translated original birth certificate

Day 31 Bio DONE

Day 40 requested a copy/translated original birth certificate RECEIVED (they probably put things on hold from the day they asked for it until they got it, so maybe lost 40-26 = 14 days because of this)

Day 41 I-485 touched

National Visa Center is in Lees Summit, MO and it just means they received your response to the request for evidence they sent you and they have resumed processing your cases.
