I am filling out the I-864 form as the sponsor for my Mexican husband through DCF. We have a child together but after she was born in Mexico, I filed for her Certificate of Birth Abroad so realistically she is an American citizen. We listed her in the I-130 form as his daughter, but do I have to list her in the I-864 form? I have to show that I am financially able to support a 3 person household--myself, my hubby, and our daughter, but technically SHE is not immigrating so am I sponsoring her??? Do I include her in the I-864 forms or just fill it out as the sponsor of my husband, the only real intending immigrant?

HELP PLS!

Hi,

my husband ticked the box on Q.8 I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above

and put 1 for our USC son on 21 d. under persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit because he will still be part of our hosehold regardless of the fact he is a US passport holder.

Hope that helps.
