Doesn't win the foulness contest with salty fish, but texturally speaking I find it pretty unpleasant. I have eaten some kinds of salty fish in Ukraine (with beer) that were pretty good. The shrink wrapped or brine bucket ####### sold here is just awful.

I salt my own fish... As far as kholodets (jellied meat), it really really really depends on how you make it.

I actually can't even have a little piece of it if it's completely jelled up... I make mine so it just has an appearance of jelly, but texture is quite fluid. Plus, I make mine with chicken.

But yeah, I can somewhat see how it'd be pretty much repugnant for ya'll

Me - I don't care for peanut butter. As in, I'll make a P&J sandwich if there's nothing else to eat in the house, but I won't go out of my way to do it.

My wife's been on a balogna kick lately. Kroger sells this super cheap "garlic balogna" for like $.89 and she loves it. She fries it and mixes it with eggs or puts it in soups, even eats it plain.... and it's horrible!

The smell after she eats this stuff is just atrocious - and it lingers!

It's horrible. What's even worse is when she's really drunk and I get the double whammy of alcohol and garlic balogna. Ewwww. A lot of guys I work with don't believe me when I tell them I'm always declining sex with my wife. When I add the garlic balogna story, the almost believe me.

I think that may be a function of time. After a long enough hiatus, Vika could be bathing in salty fish stink and it wouldn't put me off for long.

Of course I don't always say no.... I mean, come on, we've all "escorted" a fat chick home at 2:15, right? I'd much rather grin and bear it with a stinky Russian than have to make believe I'm not doing what I think I'm doing.
